These records form the principal surviving baptismal sequence currently associated with Patrick Dargan / Dorgan and Johanna Flynn.
Michael Dorgan is confirmed as their son through his 1869 marriage record to Johanna Garde, although his baptism has not yet been firmly identified. A younger son, Patrick J. Dorgan, is documented through later marriage, land, emigration, and American records, but his baptism has also not yet been located with certainty.
The baptism registers do not always provide a townland. Carrigkilter should therefore be described as the family’s confirmed later residence and landholding rather than automatically presented as the birthplace of every child.
