The record establishes the beginning of the documented Healy–Dorgan family branch.
1870 Baptism — John Healy
John Healy was baptized on 10 November 1870. He was a son of Jeremiah Healy and Mary Dorgan.
This baptism continues the Healy–Dorgan line formed by the couple’s 1866 marriage and provides the principal early record for the John Healy who later married Margaret Graham.

John Healy and Margaret Graham were married on 29 April 1915 at the Roman Catholic Cathedral in Cork.

The census records John as age 60. If he was the John Healy baptized in November 1870, he would have been 55 on census night. This difference remains an unresolved age discrepancy.
